Hard points, edge details and joining methods
Cellite Honeycomb Sandwich Panels are the idea component to use in a vast range of lightweight assemblies. Individual panels can include integrally bonded ‘hard points’ to accept heavy attachments. After being machined on the in-house 3 axis CNC Router, panels can be fitted with ‘potted’ inserts to provide attachments for brackets, shelving and other fittings. The panels can have hardwearing laminates pre-bonded, or may be painted. They are easily joined together to form large units. Edges can be finished with anodised or painted aluminium extrusion, alternatively, where the edges are not seen, inexpensive fillers or sealants can be used.
Equipment
The units can be made ready for installation with the fitting of electrics, plumbing and equipment.
