Equipment pods for RNLI lifeboats
Working closely with RNLI Naval Architects, Technical Resin Bonders designed and built the Equipment Pod for the new IB1 Off-Shore Lifeboat. This complex structure combines the use of advanced materials with the latest construction techniques to meet the challenges associated with its life-saving role. The Pod is fitted to the Bow Board, which is produced by precision CNC machining prior to being moulded using a closed mould resin injection method. This provides for high dimensional accuracy and total repeatability.
